The Tyrone Guthrie Centre is a workplace for artists and creative people like writers, artists, film makers sculptors, composers and musicians which is at their disposal because of the generous bequest of Sir Tyrone and Lady Judith Gutherie that their family home at Annaghmakerrig, Newbliss County Monaghan should be “a place of retreat for artists and such like creative persons”
